Specs Mobile Detailing (“Specs MD”, “we”) is a mobile car detailing business serving Harford County, Maryland. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our online booking page, and what we do with it.
What this website collects
This website has no forms that send information to us directly. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies or track you across sites, and it collects only basic page-view data, like the page visited, the referring site, your browser type and your country. We also use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to measure and improve our ads. It loads in your browser, sets cookies, and sends Meta the pages you view, whether you tap Book, Text or Call, and your IP address and browser details. We also use the Google Ads tag to measure our Google ads. It loads in your browser, sets cookies, and tells Google when someone who came from one of our Google ads taps Book, Text or Call, or finishes a booking. You can limit this in your Google ad settings (adssettings.google.com), your Facebook and Instagram ad settings or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.
- Quote builder: runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you pick is sent to us unless you choose to text, email or book it.
- Text, email and fleet request buttons: open your own messaging or email app with the details filled in. We only receive what you choose to send.
- Hosting: our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and basic request data to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
- Fonts and reviews: page fonts load from Google Fonts, and the Google reviews we show come from Google Maps, including reviewers’ profile pictures. Google receives your IP address when these load.
Online booking
“Book Now” opens our booking page, run on our booking software (Detailer Autopilot). When you book we collect your name, phone number, email, the service address, your vehicle details and the service you chose. We use this to schedule and perform your detail, send appointment confirmations and reminders, take payment, and follow up about your service.
Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
Text messages
If you agree to receive texts when you book, we text you about your booking, including reminders, follow-ups and review requests. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run our business: our booking software and its texting and email providers, our payment processor, and our website host (Cloudflare). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep customer and booking records for as long as you are a customer and for up to 5 years after your last service, for our business, tax and legal records. Text-message consent records are kept for 5 years.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Call or text (410) 688-4140 or email specsmobiledetailing@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
